Snowy Days

When I was four , five, and six...

I remember falling asleep in a box for a large toy. As I was waking I heard everyone looking for me. They were very concerned with my whereabouts and my sister was on the verge of getting in trouble... she was responsible for everything and anything that pertained to me.

I remember getting the silver clicker(is that what it's called?) of a pen stuck in my ear. My father, I affectionately call him my Sperm Donor(see entry #1 of our Daddy Diaries), had to lovingly hit my head on the left side so that the silver clicker would come out of the right side... I believe my sister got in trouble.

On a snowy day like today, I remember my sister making ice cream with the snow that had fallen on our window ledge. It was icy, vanilla goodness. I also remember her bundling me up in a sky blue coat, that once belonged to her. I was always happy to wear anything that had touched her body once...

My sister and I have a loving, wonderful, crazy, sordid, sometimes bizarre relationship that I wouldn't change for a million bucks or x amount of millions for that matter.

I remember the times she sacrificed her life for mine.

...recalling on a snowy day.
