Everything happens for a reason, right?

We believe this wholeheartedly.

When things happen we often find ourselves trying to figure out what the reason for the happening is.

This happening was one of those rare occasions where we didn't need to figure out the what or the why.

The other day I happened to be clicking my way through The Lady Bloggers Society website.  That's appropriate.  I'm a lady and I'm a blogger.  Anyway, on the site it was announced that new owners are running the ship over there and since that sparked a little bit of excitement in me I decided to comment on a post... fast forward...

When I checked our email today I found out that we happen to be the recipients of an LBS giveaway that not only includes advertising but an amazon.com gift card.  AHHHHHHHH!  This was the best news ever!!!   It's great to win things, it's even better when you actually need to win a thing and you win it.

During our last taping one of the cameras we use to shoot Shitty Fabulous Lives THE SERIES died.  It's finished.  Kaput.  We're so positive that it will never turn on again.  We knew we would have to buy a new one but we didn't know when we would be able to do so.

WE CAN DO IT NOW!  That's why we won.  With the amazon gift card we received we will be purchasing our new camera tonight.  So, when you see episodes 4-6 in season 1 and all of season 2 please know that some of that footage was made possible by our LBS winnings.

We loved LBS before but now we are in love with the team over there.  THANK YOU!!!  Random or not- THANK YOU!!!  This giveaway was right on time.
